I am trying hard to think of something exciting about today:

1. It's Presidents Day, which means that no mail will be delivered and that banks and schools are closed.
2. The dispensary next door changed names and/or ownership. They've got a new sign outside covering their old sign.
3. I am craving a cheeseburger. This craving will most likely go unfulfilled.  O:-)

Presidents Day was a day off, so that was exciting.  :)

Even though I didn't use it to accomplish much of anything.  ???

I did watch the first episode of Severance on Apple TV+ this evening.  Not that that counts as an accomplishment.  But they have been our neighbors, at the studio complex where I work, since January 2020, so it was nice to finally see what they've been up to this whole time.  (Since we came back in fall 2021, of course, our productions have been rigidly segregated from one another for Covid-safety reasons: no slipping across the hall to borrow a gallon of AquaLock, indeed no contact between crews at all, and certainly no visiting one another's stages for a peek at the sets we've each been working on; there's a literal cordon between our separate sections of the building, the crossing of which would probably be a firing offense).

Anyway, while today was a wash, the three-day weekend overall wasn't 100% accomplishment-free:  I did have two Zoom meetings for the two plays I'm currently (supposed to be) designing, including a three-hour conversation with one of the directors yesterday that was both enjoyable and highly productive.  So I guess that's something.
