I have spent the last hour and a half working on my 2021 income tax.   I have just over $12,000 in medical expenses. The standard deduction is $12,550. I'm not sure if I can dig up another $550 worth of legitimate deductions, but maybe with real estate interest and taxes, I could do it. Otherwise, I just spent an awful lot on medical bills with nothing to show for it. I got sick of doing taxes, so I quit, even though I have business income and expenses left to do. 

It is all the way up to 21°F, which is warmer than it's been for two days!
