It was a hot day in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. It was a very good day to preview the roller coasters I'll be riding to help raise money for Special Olympics Illinois next weekend. There were a lot of cars in the parking lot but the park wasn't too crowded. We had short waits until later in the afternoon as people started to arrive for Fright Fest. We didn't stay for that because the combo of heat and crowds was not appealing.
