16 August 2022 Rainy Costco day

It has been raining most of the day, which is wonderful, because we don't usually get much rain. It's also doing a wonderful job of bringing the temperature down. 

I went to Costco twice today, first to get gas before they opened, and then to get stuff I "need." I wasn't able to find some of the things I actually need, like canned mushrooms, Kleenex and kettle corn (well, I probably don't need the last one, but I did have it on my list to get), so I'll have to go back once they restock. I did find salami, dog treats and leggings. The dog treats are obviously the most needed item on the list, so it's good that they had them. 

They were also out of fountain Pepsi and Diet Pepsi, so they were giving everyone who ordered hot dogs a can of whichever drink they wanted.

Too bad I'm craving kettle corn right now.

I went to a COSTCO in the Dallas area yesterday.  My friend had to pick up milk, tomatoes, and Huggies.  They had Kleenex and it was about $3-4 less expensive than it is here.
