15 February 2022 Snowy Wednesday

Welcome to the second half of February! We've gotten somewhere between three and five inches of snow, by my very scientific measurement method of walking in it with the dog. It has been very cold all day, not getting above the teens. Right now it's 12°. It would otherwise be an excellent day to go to bed early and snuggle with a dog, except I'm hungry.

 I'm so hungry I'm turning green.

We are under a thunderstorm watch/warning until 10pm tonight.  It is 73 degrees in my apartment. That is too warm for me to be able to sleep.  A fan in the window isn't cooling my bedroom quickly enough so will be forced to turn the a/c on.  While I sleep the temps will fall 30 degrees.  I wish I could use the fan and then turn on the heat when I get up, if it is needed.  But I spent last night not sleeping and can't risk that again tonight.  When I shut my window I could other a/c units on so that makes me feel a little bit better.
