The temperature may reach 100 F today with "real feel" of over 100. I'm staying indoors at all possible today. To augment the air conditioning at work i have a small fan. We battle the afternoon sun coming through the skylights and the a/c often had trouble keeping up.
I no longer long for the old view!

Today is much cooler than it's been. Highs in the 70s F. It's nice enough to have the windows open and the air conditioning off.

I'm glad for you Kathy!  70s are wonderful temperatures.  It looks like we won't be seeing those until late August.  July is fill with low, mid and high 80s.
The rest of my night looks like this: Early to bed, early to rise.  I was supposed to start work at 5 AM tomorrow but I agreed to come in, on overtime pay, an hour early.  They didn't backfill the other supervisor who is working at the gate with me.  (Nor did they completely fill a vacationing full-time agent's shift.)  Many bad decisions come from my managers as it pertains to staffing.
