21-AUG-18 A Day For Healing

Well, not healing so much as recovery.  Did I mention that I had an allergic reaction to some penicillin last week?  I only took two does before noticing a rash forming so I discontinued the penicillin (got a replacement antibiotic that same day) and figured the rash would fade on its own.  I was wrong.  It actually got worse even after I started taking Benadryl a couple of days ago.  The final straw came last night when it became really itchy.  Today I left work early and popped into see the doctor who kindly gave me a script for prednisone.  I'm planning on going to bed early tonight to make up for the sleep I didn't get last night (yes, I know it doesn't really work like that) and let my body and the meds rid myself of this rash.
