I wouldn't mind one but I doubt it will help relieve the pain of the wasp sting from this morning. I was on the verandah catching up on news this morning, and minding my own business when I felt a sharp sting on my left little toe; some bastard wasp got me and the pain was really rather severe - even now some 12 hours later it still hurts and my pinkie is very pink, swollen and tender to touch. No other reaction thank goodness.

Oh no!  Whatever did your little toe do to provoke the wasp?!?  I hope the morning brings you no pain and greatly reduced swelling.
My bad day could have been worse.  I was on my way form Bob's Store to Old Navy when I noticed the "low tire pressure" indicator light was on.  Then I heard a sound similar to when you drive over the rumble strips on the highway.  That was odd because I was in the left lane, one lane over from the shoulder and this wasn't a highway.  I was desperately  searching for any grooves in the pavement when I accepted the fact that I had a flat tire and was basically driving on the rim.  The sound I was hearing was the tire being driven over by the rim.  Fortunately this happened just as I was approaching a Midas car shop.  I pulled in and got a very reasonable estimate for tires.  I didn't want to get the tires yet and asked them to just put the spare on.  They did and sent me on my way.  When I asked what I owed them they said they didn't charge to put on the spare tire.  There is a very good chance I will be going back to them this weekend to get my new tires and have an estimate for some other work that I need a 2nd opinion on.

Also, I was only at the Midas shop for around an hour, so that was nice.  I didn't have to wait long even though they were fully booked with appointments.  And I was successful at Old Navy.  I have been looking for an inexpensive swimsuit and had no idea the "base" price for men's suits is now around $50.  There isn't much of a selection left at the department stores but I found something descent at Old Navy.  It's not my first choice but I didn't hate it and it was marked down to $6.99.  When it rang up the price was only $2.63 with taxes.  Yippee!!!
I no longer long for the old view!
