21-FEB-19 A Much Better Day

Today was a much better day at work than I've had in the past two weeks.  Mostly everything was on-time and the delays we had were not too bad.  (or at least the flights I worked didn't have any major delays)  One of our closing agents called in sick and I was contemplating doing to some overtime tonight but they found someone to work the shift before I could psych myself up to volunteer.  

We had an ice storm over night.  Today we had temps in the very high 40s.  The ice covering the sidewalks and driveway is nearly completely melted.  The only place it didn't melt is on the driveway on the side of the house where it doesn't get much sun.  I didn't shovel there this morning so I'm not too upset about it.  It should melt tomorrow or the next day.  The winter weather we've had this is is WEIRD.

If it is possible, I am having strong feelings of affection towards my new Dyson V8 cordless stick vacuum.  I used it on the stairs today and a little bit in my room.  It is so easy to use things will be vacuumed much more frequently from now on.  This was a good purchase. (in contrast to the Cheetos I bought while at Walgreens.  Those are not an example of a good purchase. )
