It's a mid-month Tuesday in October and that means I'm ushering Book of Mormon.  The tour has come back through town.  This is my last day of vacation.  Since I'm only working four days this week the transition back into work will be a gentle one.  I'm hoping to pick up a part-time shift to make up some of the hours I gave away so I could take my mom to a family gathering in Boston on Sunday.
I no longer long for the old view!

I just got back from the grocery store, where I picked up Coca-Cola and beef jerky. Breakfast of champions!

I remember the last time Book of Mormon came through town I didn't like it as much as I thought I would.  I'm pretty sure I didn't go back into the theater for the second act and watched it on the monitors in the lobby and walked around.  I may have had an assignment which prevented me from being in the theater at the start of the show. This time i was ushering in the balcony and there weren't many patrons up there.  (100ish out of 600)  I liked the show much better this time around.  Missing the opening number of a musical really makes a difference as to how I respond to the show.
