I've been very much enjoying my day off today.  I got a haircut.  I, unexpectedly, took my dad's glasses in for repair. (We got the extended warranty so they are ordering a new frame!)  I have a Japanese inspired beef stew starting in the slow cooker.  And I'm catching up on the many, many shows and movies I'd like to watch.  

Things which will not be done today include: laundry, getting gas for the car, going out for a walk.  The first two I didn't plan on doing until tomorrow anyway.  The walk probably won't happen because I'm just not in the mood and the weather isn't the greatest today.  I can't walk at the mall - wasn't really considering that option - because they have been closed by the Governor.

We are currently getting about six inches of heavy, wet snow. It's not even pretty snow. It was around 70°F yesterday, so we got rain that turned into snow instead of dry, powdery snow. Not that it matters, because all the ski resorts are closed.

I was wondering today if it was possible for me to get a haircut, so that's good news that you were able to do so, Tom. Although I probably won't be able to go to the cosmetology school, because I would guess that it's closed and not taking appointments.

Something positive about today: It's hard to come up with something, but this playlist made me at least smile.
