19-JUL-20 Sneak Attack!

The heat is sneaky today.  It feels hot but not HOT so you think you're doing ok.  For instance, I was pulling weeds in the yard for maybe five minutes.  I trying not to hurry so I wouldn't overheat.  I finished the patches I wanted to weed and went inside and turned on the window a/c.  I was feeling fine a proud of myself that I didn't overexert while outside.  Suddenly I started to feel hot and then hotter.  I cooled off in 5-10 minutes.  No more outdoor chores for me today.

The good news for today is that a new In-n-Out Burger is being built about two miles from my house. I believe this is the first one in the Denver area, and one of the first in the state, after two that are currently being built in Colorado Springs.

Well, it's gotten me excited, anyway.
