Today I went to the grocery store, and that alone makes it a productive day. I bought a few things I probably shouldn't have bought (Dove bars, lemonade) but that I was very much in the mood for. Today is not very hot (mid 80s), which is lovely in comparison to too many days in a row of 90+ temperatures.

Happy birthday to Mick Jagger, Helen Mirren and Sandra Bullock.

Today started out really icky.  It was very hot and humid.  A series of rainstorms are working their way through the area (WI) and bringing the temps down.  It is wonderful!  My friend's cats watched the rain from the big covered porch.  

We got some really good chicken from a gas station for dinner.
