Yesterday we had very exciting weather as Tropical Storm Isaias moved through the area.  We had rain, high winds, winds gusts up to 55 MPH, tornado warnings and watches, trees & branches came down, and many people lost electricity.  Weatherwise, today is acting like nothing happened.  We are back to sunny skies and very warm temperatures.

It's @AmyG's birthday today!!!!

Eeek!!!   Just read an email update from the town.  It says more than half of the city is without power.  I guess we were very lucky yesterday that we didn't loose ours.  It may take more than a day to get everyone in the city back on the grid.  In the state, over 700,000 homes & businesses lost power.

There is a HUGE tree at the other end of our street down.  There might be two LARGE trees actually.  One totally blocking the road and the another with half broken off and on the roof of a home.  I discovered that when I was going to the grocery store.
