I am not happy with Instacart. I gave them a 5-star review because they did everything I told them to, kept me updated about a substitution, and delivered even earlier than they had promised. But I am NOT HAPPY with how much they charge for a delivery--plus they had an additional service charge, plus, my substituted item (Charmin toilet paper instead of Kirkland toilet paper) was $8 more expensive. I approved the substitution because I'm in a position where beggars can't be choosers, but that delivery was ridiculously expensive once everything got added up. I'm hoping it's the last time I have to use them, and that I can pick up my own prescriptions starting in March.

You did the right thing with the rating, Kathy.  The rating is for the person who shopped for and delivered your items.  It's not for the entire Instacart experience.  (Although the shopper could have clued you in as to the price difference.)  I hope you are able to be more mobile next month at the earliest.  


Today was my first day back as a Full Time employee.  Everything was going fine until the last flight.  It snuck in early so I had to make hast to meet it at the gate.  Then it had a mechanical issue and delayed.  I ended up working 1.5 hours of overtime today.  My feet will probably be a little sore and/or tender tomorrow.  Overall it was a good day.  The people on the delayed flight were nice.  And a different flight which had a passenger with chest pains was able to get out on time and get the passenger the medical attention he needed.  I think he was fine but the paramedics did take him to hospital to give him a thorough check up.  He looked good as he rolled past on the stretcher.
I no longer long for the old view!
