I bought a bag of Meyer Lemons from Costco last week.  I knew it would be a challenge to use them all before they went bad.  Today I decided to cook with lemon; as many dishes as I could. (did I use the semi-colon correctly?)  I'm about to start my third dish and I really don't feel like zesting another lemon.  I'll get over it.  To help, I'm taking a break to stream something for 30-60 minutes.  Then I'll start on dinner.

Made so far:

Next up:
  • Chicken Piccata
  • Ants Climbing a Tree  (This might have to wait until Sunday or Monday as I'm not sure there is enough room in the refrigerator to store it. Fortunately it looks like it is really quick to make.)
I no longer long for the old view!

So far I've had a busy day. It snowed maybe one inch last night, which was enough to mess up traffic and really jack up the price on my Lyft ride to the doctor's office. It was about five miles and about $33 before tip. I'm thinking I might be able to claim medical deductions this year, so that information is getting filed.

I had to have blood drawn, which I always hate, and I also got a shingles shot, because they have been out of them for the past two years. I know enough people who have had shingles to know that I'd much prefer the shot. And actually, it wasn't too bad, in comparison to the blood draw. The ride home was much less expensive--I'm guessing it had something to do with peak hours being over.

Right now our one inch of snow is melting nicely.

We used to have a Meyer Lemon tree at our house in California. I know this, even though we left when I was 3, because my mother would go on and on about the tree, and how great it was to have it in the yard, and how it was a shame that lemon trees can't grow in Colorado.
