It's going to be a cooler day for those picnicking in my area.  There may even be some rain in the afternoon.  I have to work so I'll be safely indoors.  We have a lighter holiday flight schedule so I'm hoping today will be fairly uneventful.....unlike the past three weeks have been.

It's hot here, but it rained a little, which cooled it down slightly. Right now it looks as if more rain is imminent, but who knows. Today I went out to lunch and had a fantastic cheeseburger with pulled pork, onion strings and barbecue sauce on it. And it was huge! I am not eating dinner. Then I went to Petco and got some dog food, and then went back to Petco because I got the wrong type of food. I hope somebody is appreciative.

Somebody in this house is completely unfazed by fireworks, and it's not me.
