I need to be more careful. Bernadette slipped out the door as the Amazon driver was delivering a package, and it took me about ten minutes to find her, but she eventually came running up to me and all was forgiven. It really scared me for a moment, because I live close to two busy streets, but apparently she was having too much fun exploring the grounds and the parking lot of my community. Thank goodness.
