Despite a canceled flight and a very late flight which could have taken "my" standby seat I made it out of Milwaukee and flew to Phillidelphia.  Once there I discovered one of my co-workers who is also on vacation was on the same flight as I was taking to CT.  And we ended up sitting across the aisle from one another!  It turned out to be a very nice day for traveling.
