17 July 2022 Pleasantly warm Sunday

If I think about it as "pleasantly warm," maybe I can trick myself into believing that it's not "hot," even though it's 30°C inside my office with the air conditioning on. I know I should count myself lucky because it's not humid (current relative humidity is 22%). I never feel like doing anything when it gets hot, though. Among the many things I did not do today are grocery shopping and laundry, although I did run the dishwasher this morning, and I count that as an accomplishment. (I haven't emptied it, though.) We went on a short walk this evening because it was too hot to go on a longer one.

This is the time of year when I fantasize about being in the Southern Hemisphere.

What a coinkydink!I ran the dishwasher last night before I went to bed last night.  If taking out a plate, knife, and fork so I could have some cherry pie counts as starting to empty the dishwasher then I started it tonight.  If not, then the dishwasher hasn't even begun to be emptied today.
