It's my mom's 85th birthday today.  She doesn't know it but there will be a small celebration for her on Sunday.  One of her brother's is hosting his annual family BBQ and we will have Boston Cream Cake as she said that was her current favorite flavor of cake.  
I no longer long for the old view!
