I went to a picnic this afternoon, held by an organization that I'm involved with. It was all the way on the other side of town, and there's no good way to get there from where I live. We had barbecue --pulled pork and pulled chicken, along with three types of BBQ sauce, beans and Mac and cheese. We were all asked to bring some sort of dessert item. The cookies that I bought at Costco were mostly not eaten, so I have a lot of them left over. Maybe I can freeze them.

It was a beautiful day for a picnic--not too hot, mostly not too windy, and only one very scattered shower that happened after the event was over. I ended up taking a lot of meat and M&C home with me, so I've got lunch for tomorrow. And cookies!
