Today is the day before the day I have the root canal, which was started before I went on vacation, finished.  It is also the day before we get election results.  I'm trying not to focus on the election because I don't want to drive myself nuts.  
I no longer long for the old view!

For those who DO want to drive themselves nuts, this page at the New York Times gives you election results in real time without having to refresh the screen first. I could stare at it for hours -- and probably will.

Look! There's my House district called out as a "key race."
I voted a week and a half ago. I'm just happy to see all the campaign ads and mailers go away.
