The winds have died down so it is much quieter than yesterday.  Today is (special) election day.  Don't forget to vote. 
I'll be leaving the house early so mom and I can vote and then I'll drop her off for a long visit with my father before I head into work.

I don't think it's Election Day here. I would have voted by mail, as Colorado is generally a vote-by-mail state. (You can go to the polls if you want to, but I don't understand why anybody would want to if they've already got a ballot they can mail in.)

My big task today was to go to Costco, where I picked up a prescription and a box of chicken dumplings. I had those chicken dumplings for lunch. Yum.
