I have a tendency, often remarked upon by Amy, to go to sleep early and wake up in late evening. So here I am and it's a damned good thing, because there's no Daily. But time, that eerie human construct that follows the sun but occasionally turns backward, has not yet propelled the Pacific Time Zone into Tuesday and I can squeeze in a Monday Daily. So here it is.

I'd like again to thank Kathy, Tom and the others who have kept the Daily Thread alive. I should do more of that myself. Consider this a start.
