31 May 2019 Repaving woes

For the next week plus, a major road on my way home is being paved, and it's making the traffic phenomenally awful. I got out of it today by going around it, which honestly wasn't any better than staying on the road in the first place, because traffic on the side street was also at a crawl. Then I went to Costco, which was like a madhouse (I thought it would be better on Friday afternoon than on Saturday--I could be mistaken, but I'm not about to go back tomorrow just to find out).

So this is how my extremely exciting Friday has gone.
