5 August 2019 The day before my windows get installed

The best I can do is clear a space through the crap for the installers to bring the windows in and enough clearance to install them, and hope that the installers don't need any more space than that. Hopefully we will all make it through tomorrow, and I will have nice, cool windows (warm in the winter) that I will actually be able to open and close easily.

Great big raspberry: Due to unforeseen circumstances, the window installation has been postponed until Saturday. I get to sleep with no blinds on my bedroom window for four more nights. (I don't trust myself to put the blinds back up and then take them down again.)
