I'm trying to think of something particularly wonderful about today. it's supposed to get up into the 50s today, and reach 60 by Sunday. Yesterday I got a package that included two books and a CD. The PBS pledge drive has been over for two days, after going on for 16. It's Brad Pitt's birthday.

The end of the PBS pledge drive is something to celebrate.  And I think a multi-day celebration is justified.  

I remembered to try on my new uniform pieces today.  I actually tried on a couple last night and finished up today.  I need to exchange the vest and I'm going up a size on two pairs of pants and I ordered too optimistically (too small) for the belt.  I based the sizing on the "True Fit" size generator and it wasn't that good for my body type.  But the shirts fit pretty well.  I washed several today and dried them and they still fit well.  Hopefully I'll lose some weight and have to get smaller sizes next year.  I hope that every year.
