The sun is shinning and it looks to be a great day!  

I've been tracking the best practices for getting on Rise of the Resistance at Disney's Hollywood Studios for my visit next month.  If Disney doesn't change anything, it appears we will need to be at the park by 6:30 AM so we can be scanned into the park by 7 AM.  Then we can join a boarding group via Disney's app.  The great thing about that is we won't have to stand in line all day waiting for one ride.  Once they call your group you have a two hour window to report in.  My hope is that we can get in line for the Millennium Falcon  Smuggler's Run ride and be off it in time for our Star Tours Fastpass (which is between 8-9AM).  There is a good chance that won't be possible unless we arrive at the park even earlier but we'll see what the crowds are like after New Year's.  In any case, I'm very excited about this trip!
