One down, 51 to go. It feels like Monday no matter what.


Maybe some cute animals can distract me from the fact that it's Monday.

One good thing about Monday is that Safeway has eight pieces of fried or baked chicken for $1 off its normal price, so I got the baked chicken (I like it better than fried, but I don't really think it's any healthier, because they both have the skin on) and ate a good portion of it for late lunch/early dinner. I've got a lot of leftovers, which is a bonus!

Safeway also had a great price on Lean Cuisine, so I bought a bunch of those, with the theory being that I won't have to worry about lunch very much in the near future.

And thus ends my shopping trip today.
