Bleah. Today is the fifth day this year of temperatures over 100°F. I just glanced out the window and it even looks hot. I can't see the heat radiating off the asphalt, but I can easily imagine it. I have no desire to go outside, but I'm going to have to go sometime to take Bernadette for a walk. She probably has no desire to go outside either.

On the positive side, we set a record high for the date. The old record went back to 1876.
