I worked our Miami flight this evening.  As per the usual, it was late coming in from Miami.  There were lightening strikes near the airport when it was supposed to leave so they couldn't push back on time.  Then bad weather moved in.  It was about an hour late getting here.  Then we had issues with the passenger loading bridge while we were boarding which slowed things down.  It arrived about a half hour late, just enough to break some connections and jeopardize a few others.  In other words....it was a typical evening flight to Miami.  NEVER book any connection in MIA past 2PM.  They have thunderstorms all the time in the summer.
