We're having a gorgeous Easter weekend here in the UK. There's a nominal suggestion to paint the decking after meeting my Mum and sister for a lengthy lunch in a recommended gastro-pub, but I'm not sure how realistic that is...

It's a rainy Saturday on the East Coast of the US.  That makes it a good day to run a couple of errands and do some laundry before seeing Shen Yun tonight.  I'm ushering and my mom is seeing the show.  I've wanted to see them for years but didn't know much about them.  After reading a little bit about the show I've learned that it's not 100% entertainment.  They have 'educational' acts meant to teach about the history and repression of the Falun Dafa, :a meditation discipline based on the principles of truthfulness, compassion, and tolerance," religion/spirituality.
